The Sui Lab is located in the Department of Chemistry at the University of North Dakota. Research in the lab encompasses a broad range of interdisciplinary fields, including organic synthesis, polymer chemistry, materials science, nanotechnology, cellular biology, and animal research. We aim to utilize organic chemistry tools to synthesize small-molecule prodrugs and biosensors as well as macromolecular polymers and gels, construct smart nanosystems, and develop advanced therapeutic and diagnostic, or theranostic, techniques for biomedical applications, especially for the treatment of malignant cancers and neurological diseases.
